The Soln. is, $x=8, y=4.$

From the first eqn., we get, $-10x=-4y-64$ , & sub.ing this $-10x$ in second eqn. we have,

$-4y-64-8y=-112 rArr -12y=64-112=-48.$

$rArr y=-48/-12=4$

Then, from the first eqn., $-10x+4(4)=-64 rArr -10x=-64-16=-80$

$rArr x=-80/-10=8$

$:.$ The Soln. is, $x=8, y=4.$
