How do you plot A(4,-1), B(5,0)?

First you need to understand your X and Y axises.
Your X axis is your horizontal (<----->, just remember along the horizon, the line that goes side to side) line
Your Y axis is your vertical line , the line that goes up and down.
To plot point A (4, -1) 4 is your x point and -1 is your y point.
First find positive 4 on the horizontal line. From there, slide you finger down the y axis, to -1.
It is going to look like this.
To plot point B (5,0) follow the same steps. 5 is your X point and 0 is your Y point. Find positive 5 on the horizontal line. Since your Y point is 0, thats all you have to do.
Your point will look like this.
Your two points both graphed should be plotted like this.
