(color(red)(sqrt(6))+color(blue)(2sqrt(2))) xx color(orange)((4sqrt(6) - 3sqrt(2)))

Distribute the terms of the first factor over the second factor
=color(red)((sqrt(6)))color(orange)((4sqrt(6) - 3sqrt(2))) + color(blue)((2sqrt(2)))color(orange)((4sqrt(6)-3sqrt(2)))

=color(red)((4(6)-3sqrt(12))) + color(blue)((8sqrt(12)-6(2)))

= 12 +5sqrt(12)

=12 +10sqrt(3)
