This is a linear equation, so we need only two points and draw a line through them.

Explanation:

You can take any two xx-values and compute the corresponding yy's.
Usually you calculate for x=0x=0 (yy-intercept) and y=0y=0 (xx-intercept)

yy-intercept:
y=-0-2=-2->(0,-2)y=02=2(0,2)

xx-intercept:
0=-x-2->x=-2->(-2,0)0=x2x=2(2,0)

Plot these points and draw the line:
graph{-x-2 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
