find the two intercepts and join them up

y = $- x^{2} + 3$ $-x^2 + 3$

y intercept is 3

when y is 0 x is x intercept:

0 = $- x^{2} + 3$ $-x^2 + 3$

$x^{2}$ $x^2$ = 3

$\sqrt{3}$ $sqrt3$ = x intercept; then you just connect them and you have your line.
