Since this is a linear function you only need two values. You mark the two points and draw a line through them.

You may want to take the $x$ $x$ values to cover the width of your intended graph, say $- 5 and + 5$ $-5and+5$ . Then:

$x_{A} = - 5 \to y_{A} = - (- 5) + 1 = + 6 \to A (- 5, + 6)$ $x_A=-5->y_A=-(-5)+1=+6->A(-5,+6)$

$x_{B} = + 5 \to y_{B} = - 5 + 1 = - 4 \to B (+ 5, - 4)$ $x_B=+5->y_B=-5+1=-4->B(+5,-4)$
