Explanation:

Substitute values for x and completing the calculation. In each case note the value for both x and y as 'matched pairs'. Use these 'matched pairs' (proper name: ordered pairs) to mark points on the graph paper. Most people say have two points but I suggest 3. The third acts as a check as all three should line up.

Mark points and draw a line through them extending it to the end of the squared area on the graph paper.

Label your axis and give a title to the graph This gives you extra marks for good communication.

Make your marked point very clear and label them. Include a small table showing your calculation for the points. Again; good communication = extra marks!
