Start at b ( +5) and follow the slope (m = 1/4)

Explanation:

The equation is in the form y=mx+b

Where b=5 b in the y intercept ( Think b = beginning)

So start at (0,5) and make a point on the y intercept.

The slope m = 14 ( think mountain ski slope) where
y=1 and x=4

Starting at (0,5) go up one value for y and over 4 places for x
This gives the point ( 4, 6) make a point here.

Repeat the process go up 1 more for y and 4 more for x
This gives the point ( 8, 7) make a point here

Connect the three point and that is the graph for the equation

y=14x+5
