#y - 2 = 3 (x-1)#

#3x - y = 3 - 2 = 1#

#x / (1/3) + y / -1 = 1# is the intercept form of the equation.

Now we know the two points on the line as

#(1/3,0) , (0, -1)#

By plotting the two points on a graph sheet and joining them gives the line required.
