First, take the derivative. You can either use the product rule or multiply the products together first. I will do the latter.

$f(x)=x(x-1)$
$f(x)=x^2-x$
The derivative of $x^n$ is $nx^(n-1)$
$f'(x)=2x-1$

Then graph the derivative: graph{2x-1 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
