Explanation:

#y=4=># is a horizontal line that goes through #y=4#.

A horizontal line (except for #y=0#) will not cross the x-axis

therefore it will not have an x-intercept. The horizontal line #y=0# is

a special case since it is also the equation of the x-axis.
