Explanation:

The y intercept will occur when x=0, therefore by subbing in x=0, we isolate y, to form the equation:

-2y+5=0 which we solve to find y=\frac{5}{2}

The x intercept occurs when y=0 therefore do the same procedure to get:

2x+5=0 which we solve to find x=-\frac{5}{2}
