Explanation:

For any function, simple rule is that to find #x#-intercept put #y=0# and to find #y#-intercept put #x=0#.

Hence for #x-y=1#, #x#-intercept is given by #x-0=1# or #x=1# and #y#-intercept is given by #0-y=1# or #y=-1#.

Hence #x#-intercept is #(1,0)# and #y#-inercept is #(0,-1)#.
