Solutions are two rational numbers.

Explanation:

-6x^2-6=-7x-9

hArr6x^2+6-7x-9=0

or 6x^2-7x-3=0

Discriminant of quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c=0 is Delta=b^2-4ac

Here Delta=(-7)^2-4xx6xx(-3)=49+72=121 i.e. Delta > 0 and is square of 11

Hence, solutions are two rational numbers.

These are given by (-b+-sqrtDelta)/(2a) and here these are

7/12+-11/12 i.e. 3/2 and -1/3
