Common ratio is #2#.

Explanation:

In a geometric sequence common ratio is the ratio between a term and its preceding term and is always constant.

Here #6/3=2# for first term and for further terms in the sequence too

#12/6=2# and #24/12=2#.

Hence common ratio is #2#.

Note - In arithmetic sequence, we have common difference.
