y^2 - 3y - xy +3x

We factor this expression by making groups of 2 terms
= (y^2 - 3y) + (-xy +3x)

Now we take the common factors out from each group
= y( y -3) -x(y-3)

( y - 3) is a common factor to each of the terms now,
= (y-3)(y - x)
color(green)( (y-3)(y - x)) is the Factorised form of y^2 - 3y - xy +3x
