$x = 1 and y = 0$ $x=1 and y=0$

Here ,

$x+2y=1to...........................(1)$

$3x-y=3to...........................(2)$

$:.-y=3-3x$

$:.y=3x-3to......................(3)$

Substituting value of $y$ into $(1)$

$x+2(3x-3)=1$

$:.x+6x-6=1$

$7x=1+6=7$

$:.color(red)(x=1$

Subst. $x=1$ into $(3)$

$y=3(1)-3=3-3$

$:.color(red)(y=0$

Hence ,

$x=1 and y=0$
