We are told that x=color(red)(3) when y=color(blue)(4)
therefore
color(white)("XXX")(color(red)(3))*(color(blue)(4)) = c
rArrcolor(white)("XXX")c= 12

So xy = 12
and
when y=color(green)(12)
color(white)("XXX")x(color(green)(12))=12

rArrcolor(white)("XXX")x=1
