It depends on what you mean by "as a form of". X-rays came to prominence in popular use from their ability to penetrate matter to different degrees, allowing "pictures" of internal structures of human bodies (and others) to be made.
Radio wave energy reflection, adsorption and transparency of different materials can also be used in imaging, as it is done in RADAR applications.
