It depends on the type of the drug used by the person.

Explanation:

The most common types of drugs are cannabinoids, opioids, stimulants, club drugs, dissociative drugs, hallucinogens, and some compounds.

Among those, cannabinoids, stimulants, and dissociative drugs are known to succeed psychosis.

Examples of cannabinoids are marijuana and hashish. Its effects may include euphoria, relaxation, slowed reaction time, distorted sensory perception, impaired balance and coordination, increased heart rate and appetite, impaired learning, panic attacks, and psychosis.

Stimulants may include cocaine, amphetamine, etc. Its effect is somewhat opposite to cannabinoids, where the user may have increased heart rate, blood pressure, irritability, reaction time, violent behavior, psychosis, and so on.

Dissociative drugs include Ketamine, PCP, and analogs, Salvia divinorum, etc. It has different effects based on what specific drug is used, but mostly it may cause analgesia, aggression, slurred speech, loss of coordination, hallucinations, dizziness, and psychosis.

If you want to know more about those, you may search each of the mentioned drug up on the internet.

Hope this helps! :-)
