I am not sure about the numbers in particular the prices!...but...

Explanation:

We can divide the price by the quantity to get the price of a unit amount of dog food and see which options is the one that is more interesting for Abby.

In the first case one pound of dog food will cost:
#740/8=$92.5#
in the second case the price is quite low....buying two bags, to get #8# pounds of dog food, she will pay #2×5.38=$10.76# !!!

I think the prices are not correct....
