Yes. The current produced by $22V$ applied to a resistance of $8Omega$ will be less than $3A$

You can use the $VIR$ triangle as a mnemonic to help remember the relationship between voltage $V$ , current $I$ and resistance $R$

This can be read as $V = IR$ , $I = V/R$ or $V/I = R$

In our example, $V=22$ , $R=8$ , so $I = V/R = 22/8 = 2.75 < 3$
