112 cans per month were sold.

Explanation:

In word problems such as this there is often a lot of information given.

Summarise it a bit at a time and calculate what you can from what is given:

332 boxes of cans. Each box had 24 cans.

rarr This means there were 332 xx 24 = 7,968 cans in total.

There were green and black beans.

4,272 cans had green beans. the rest were black beans.

rarr Therefore 7,968 - 4,272 = 3,696 had black beans.

The black beans were all sold over 33 months.

rarr each month 3.696 div 33 = 112 cans were sold.

In one calculation this would be:
(332 xx 24 - 4272) div 33 = 112
