If we double the voltage, then
(i) current = doubles
(ii) power = four times

Explanation:

As we know that,

I=V/R

& P =V^2/R

From above equation, it is clear

If we double the voltage, then
(i) current = doubles
(ii) power = four times

It is only applicable to resistive load.
