No.

Explanation:

I'm not sure what "extra karma" is supposed to mean here, but if I understand your question correctly, then the answer must be no.

As far as editing answers is concerned, you can either edit your own answer or edit an answer posted by another contributor.

Editing your own answers does not provide you with karma points (as far as I know).

Editing another contributor's answer will get you #20# karma points for the first edit, and #1# karma point for every successive edit.

Now, you will not get karma for likes the answer received before your edit. There's no reason for you to get karma for something you had absolutely nothing to do with, which is why I said must be

So if you edit an answer that had #100# "likes" before your edit, you will still get only #20# karma points. Makes sense if you ask me.

As you know, a "like" is equivalent to #100# karma points. For answers that have multiple contributors, these karma points are distributed based on contribution.

If you write #50%# of the answer, you will get #50%# of the #100# karma points awarded for a "like", i.e. #50# points.

If you write #1%# of the answer, you will get #1%# of the #100# points awarded for a "like", i.e. #1# point.

And so on.

So, to sum this up, editing a liked answer will not get you "extra karma".
