How can i calculate resistance of a wire?

Using a set up known as meter bridge we can easily find the Resistance of a wire.

The meter bridge works on the principle of wheat-stone bridge.

For the meter bridge shown above the relation from wheat stone bride principle comes out to be :-

Thus, the unknown resistance #X# is calculated easily.
