This equation has no real solutions.

Explanation:

To solve such equation first we move roots to left side, and number to right side.

#4-sqrt(3x+1)=5#

#-sqrt(3x+1)=1#

#sqrt(3x+1)=-1#

Now you can see that the equation has no real solutions because there are no real numbers whose square root (or any other root of an even degree) is negative.
