Genetic drift would have a greater effect on endangered species than it would on relatively large populations that are not endangered.
Explanation:
Genetic drift occurs when the genetic frequencies within small populations fluctuates because of sample error. Sample error occurs when a subset of the entire possible population is selected for or against. This subset is not truly representative of the population as a whole . Endangered species exist in small groups and are more susceptible to this kind of sample error.
