No.Stars .like Sun will become first Red giant and then they will become white dwarf,
Explanation:
This as per chandra Sekhar limit.This says that stars with solar mass less than 1.4 solar mass will become white dwarfs.
Only stars with mass 8 to 10 times solar mass will end in supernova explosions.
