There is evidence to support the theory that the tilt is the result of a collision.

Explanation:

Nobody knows for sure but the currently accepted theory is that its tilt is the result of a collision. The theory is supported by observations that the planet has thin wispy rings that have the same axis of rotation that are probably the remnants of colliding object.
