Explanation:
Human being, with a current population of 7.4 billion+, dominates the earth altough we cannot control weather and space fully. While human population increases dramatically (some argue that carrying capacity is 10 billion+), people tend to damage nature to get agricultural fields, to build industrial plants, roads, etc.. Therefore, it must be studied that places that are threatened by human being have which creatures, what are their populations and behaviour, etc.
All these efforts are for protecting species from environmental change and find solutions for species extinction.
