It forbade them from crossing the Appalachian Mountains.
Explanation:
King George III was unwilling to displease the Native tribes by seizing their lands in the western wilderness.
The colonists disagreed as they wanted to have more lands and therefore the Indians had to be deprive of their ancestral territory.
