Explanation:
The charatristic feature of plant Kingdom is the presence of cell wall. The cell wall is found in the plant cell only. We know biology is science of exception. There are exceptions of different characters. But there is exception of cell wall for the plant cell. All plant cells have cell wall.
But the chemical nature of the cell wall is different compared to other cell wall of other plant cells. The cell wall of the fungi is made up of chitin. Exoskeleton of Arthropods are also made up of chitin. The fungi are heterotrophic like anmals.
Instead of above characteritic features of Fungi they are closely related with the plant Kingdom on the basis of presence of cell wall.
