It really depends on what the pollution is so you can't really determine which one is worse. But speaking generally, you can say non-point source pollution.

Point source pollution is when you can tell where the pollution came from (like hog waste in the water supply).

Non-point source pollution is when you can't really tell where the pollution came from (like excess CO2 in the atmosphere). This is generally caused when different types of pollution mix together.

Because it is harder to determine where non-point source pollution comes from, it is harder to take actions to stop this problem. This is one of the reasons why it is worse.
