Many times

Explanation:

There have been many times when women's suffrage took place. The one I am going to talk about is war. WWI is a big example of the women's rights campaign. Women took over the roles that men usually had. Women started to work in factories that men usually had, also the development of the "Hello Girls." The Hello Girls were switchboard operators. A few women also saw combat in Russia. It seems weird but war actually helped women further their cause. They took more of a dominant role in the countries that they lived in and that led to more rights for them.

*New Zealand/Australia- only certain women could vote. Indigenous women could not vote

Some countries passed women's rights laws a few years after WWI ended (i.e. Britain, 1928)
