You should know that how many bonds are between
"A"-"T" and"G"-"C" .
- Adenine and thymine binds with
color(red)(2 Hydrogen bonds.- Whereas guanine and cytosine binds with
color(red)(3 hydrogen bonds.Now, count how many
"A"-"T" and"G"-"C" bonds are there.I found
color(red)(4 "A"-"T" bonds andcolor(red)3 "G"-"C" bonds.Then total amount of hydrogen bonds are
color(blue)((4xx2+3xx3)=17 Hope it helps...
