What were the consequences of the Boston Tea Party?

It angered the King and caused him to enact restrictive laws on Bostonians in particular.

Explanation:

The King enacted four new laws, three of which particularly annoyed Bostonians. The first was the Massachusetts Government Act which put a British General as governor of Massachusetts, Gen. Thomas Gage. The next was the Administration of Justice Act which put British Jurists in charge of many Massachusetts courts. Then there was the Quartering Act which allowed British soldiers to be quartered in private residences. This was done because England had sent 5000 soldiers to Boston for which there was no military housing.

The fourth act, The Quebec Act had no bearing on the residents of Massachusetts.
