Standard form of quadratic polynomial with one variable is $y=ax^2+bx+c$ Hence to convert $y=(3x−15)(x−5)$ , one should expand the RHS.

$y=(3x−15)(x−5)=3x(x-5)-15(x-5)$

= $3x^2-15x-15x+75$ or

= $3x^2-30x+75$
