by naming the separate hydrocarbyl substituents (I suppose the largest is named first), followed by the ether label.......

And thus $C_6H_5OC_2H_5$ is $"phenyl ethyl ether".$

I suppose $H_3COC_2H_5$ is $"ethyl methyl ether"$ .
