There are a few ways of doing this, but I'll use the one involving finding the slope of the line and then using it in point slope form.

Explanation:

Say m represents slope.

m = (6 - 12) / (19 - - 17)

m = -6/36

m = - 1/6
The slope is -1/6

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Select your point, say (19, 6), and plug it into the formula shown above.

y - 6 = -1/6 (x - 19)

y - 6 = -1/6x + 19/6

y = -1/6x + 55/6

The equation of your line is y = -1/6x + 55/6
