There are a few ways of doing this, but I'll use the one involving finding the slope of the line and then using it in point slope form.

Say m represents slope.

m = # (6 - 12) / (19 - - 17) #

m = # -6/36 #

m = # - 1/6 #
The slope is # -1/6#

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Select your point, say (19, 6), and plug it into the formula shown above.

y - 6 = # -1/6 #(x - 19)

y - 6 = #-1/6x# + #19/6#

y = # -1/6x# + #55/6#

The equation of your line is y = #-1/6x# + #55/6#
