Explanation:
- The first product of phtosythesis is three carbon compound i.e., phosphogluveric acid or PGA. So, the plants that have this type of cycle are called C3 plants. The calvin cycle is related with this. Majority of plants show this type of cycle.
- The first product of phtosythesis is four carbon compound i.e., phosphoenol pyruvate or PEP. So, the plants that have this type of cycle are called C4 plants.
- The plants have crassulasean acid metabolism are CAM plants. These plants are found in the tropical regions. The plants are adopted to survive in the moderate concentration of carbodioxide.
