Density is simply mass per unit volume, which has the dimensions #g*cm^-3#

Explanation:

So we take the mass (in grams) and divide by the volume, which is the product of the linear dimensions:

#"Density", rho# #=# #(6.38*g)/(2.5*cmxx3.2*cmxx5.4*cm)# #=# #?? g*cm^-3#.

Now even if I get the arithmetic wrong, I certainly have the right units for density. Would this block float on water? Why or why not?
