It is a writing style in which an author gives human characteristics or emotions to inanimate or nonliving objects.
Explanation:
This can make for interesting literary writing, but makes very poor technical writing!
Good: The evening breeze sighed as it drifted through the trees.
Bad: High pressure air wants to be at a location of lower pressure.
