As earth is rotating in its axis we see stars in the sky moving from east to west.
Explanation:
The stars are not moving.But we see the apparent motion from east to west. Earth rotates itself once in 23 hours 56 minutes and 4 seconds. This motion is called diurnal motion of stars.
