Explanation:
Simply It is a graphical representation of an element and its phases(solid,liquid,gas) under different temperature and pressure conditions. The variables as the name suggests(binary) are two taken on x axis and y axis.For example temperature and pressure on y and x axes respectively . It tells us pure melting point,boiling point ,what impact decrease in temperature causes, phases change with temperature .Hope this helps thanks
