What doesn't the anterior pituitary secrete?

It don't secrete oxytocin, vesopressin and many more.

Explanation:

Anterior lobe of pituitary gland is also called master gland. Because it, in adition to produce primary hormones also secrete tropic hormones.

Hormones secreted by Anterior Pituitary

  • Somatotrophin Hormone(STH).

  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone(TSH).

  • Adrenocorticotrophic Hormone(ACTH).

  • Gonadotrophic Hormones.

Thus all the hormones except the one mentioned above are not secreted by anterior pituitary.
