Explanation:

This is rather subjective, but here are a couple examples of traits that I think Eric is displaying:

1) Ingenuity
"the quality of being clever, original, and inventive"

Eric uses extreme cleverness when he uses his car antenna as a spear and starts a fire with his car battery. So I think that he is showing the character trait of ingenuity.

2) Composure
"the state or feeling of being calm and in control of oneself"

Eric doesn't panic when he gets stuck in the woods without a way to call others. He calmly decides to make himself some food and wait for help. He is displaying the character trait of composure.

3) Patience
"the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset"

This one goes somewhat along with the composure trait - as he is being calm and composed in his waiting. Eric decides to wait patiently for help instead of going to find help. So he is displaying patience.
