Muscles, tendons and ligaments are all different types of connective tissues: all of these are mesodermal in origin.
Explanation:
There are three types of muscles : skeletal, smooth and cardiac. Muscles are specialised tissue which can undergo contraction and relaxation.
Tendons are tough, white, connective tissue which attach muscles to bone. When a muscle contracts, associated bone shows movement due to noncontractile nature of tendon.
Ligaments are elastic, yellow, connective tissue which connect a bone with another bone. Ligaments are present in synovial/moving joints and allow bones to move.
