Each month requires different amounts of sutures.

Explanation:

For January, there are 22 work-days (or let's say 4 weeks). Therefore total #22*5=110# sutures are needed. Total packs (for January): 4 boxes. For 4 boxes, there are 128 sutures but 110 are consumed.

For February: there are 20 working days and therefore #20*5=100# (but 18 sutures are still available (from January) therefore, only 3 boxes of sutures will be enough.

Therefore, you need 4 boxes for some months and 3 boxes for other months. (I assume there are no holidays with the exception of 1st of January).

For January 4 boxes (left 18 sutures at the end of the month)
For February 3 boxes (left 14 sutures at the end of the month)
For March 4 boxes (left 27 sutures at the end of the month)
For April 3 boxes (left 23 sutures at the end of the month)
For May 3 boxes (left 4 sutures at the end of the month)

It goes.....
