The graph of h(x) contains the point (−5, 10). What is the corresponding point on the graph of y = h(5x)?

From what I know, this function is horizontally compressed because k>1. I'm not sure how to write the corresponding point

I think you're supposed to divide the -5 by 5 since it is compressed and you get -1?

Yeah your right, the corresponding point would be #(-1,10)#

Explanation:

Because your multiplying the argument of the function (the #x# value inside the brackets) by a constant the creates a horizontal dilation of the function with a scale factor of the reciprocal of the constant being multiplied.
